Shree Krupa Hair Family Salon

Our shop is located at number 30 in the Pratham Shopping Center on the Nikol-Naroda Road. We are right across from Dipak School, so we see a lot of students and parents every day. Since we are a family salon, we get all kinds of people coming in, from little kids to the elderly. Nikol is a growing area and it’s been interesting to see how much it has changed since we first opened. The shopping center is usually busy, especially in the afternoons when school gets out. We have a few more chairs than some of the smaller shops because we try to accommodate families. It’s not a high-end place with glass walls and expensive lights. It’s just a practical space where we do our work. We use simple tools and keep the place as clean as we can. The conversations here are usually about school, work, or what’s happening in the shopping center. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just spend our days cutting hair for the people living around here. Some days are loud with kids running around and other days it’s just the sound of the ceiling fan. We just take it as it comes and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door. Usually, we are here until late evening to help the working folks get their hair done.
