We are located at shop twenty-four in the Sindhi Market in Maninagar. It is a very busy area because we are right opposite the Maninagar Railway Station. You can always hear the trains coming and going, and the announcements over the speakers. The market is always crowded with people shopping and rushing to catch their trains. Our shop is a small part of all that noise and energy. We have been cutting hair in this spot for a long time. People who are traveling often stop in for a quick shave or a trim before they get on their train. It is a simple setup. We have our tools laid out and the chairs are always ready. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan is always running at full speed. We do not have any fancy decorations, just the essentials for the job. The floors are tiled and we sweep them after every customer. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but we enjoy the talk. We get people from all over because of the station. Some are regulars from Maninagar, while others are just passing through. It is an honest way to spend the day. We open early and stay until the last train rush is mostly over. It is just a regular hair shop in a very busy part of Ahmedabad.
