Shree Beauty Parlours

Shree Beauty Parlours is situated at 72 Geeta Bhuvan, which is part of the Nar Narayan Society in Maninagar East. We are directly opposite the Parasmani Flats in the Daxini Society area. Maninagar is a nice residential pocket of Ahmedabad, so we get a lot of local ladies coming in from the nearby houses. The parlor is set up in a way that feels a bit more like a home than a business. We have the usual stuff like threading stations and a place for hair washing. It is not a huge place, but it is comfortable enough for a few people to be inside at once. Sometimes the doorbell rings constantly and other times it is quiet for hours, giving us time to fold the laundry or tidy up the small containers of cream and wax. The neighborhood is fairly peaceful compared to the city center, though you still hear the occasional rickshaw or vegetable seller going by. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the magazines get messy on the table. It is a practical space for everyday grooming. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. People just come in when they need their hair done or a facial before a wedding in the family. It has been our daily routine for quite some time now, just working away in Geeta Bhuvan and seeing the same friendly faces from the society.
