Shree B G Chavda Secondary School

Sanand has changed a lot lately with all the factories coming in, but Shree B G Chavda Secondary School stays pretty much the same. We are located right here in the Sanand 382110 area. It is a secondary school, so we deal with the older kids who are starting to worry about their future exams. The school grounds are simple, with a bit of space for the students to stand around during their break. We have a small office where we keep the registers and the bell that someone has to ring manually every hour. The desks in the classrooms have seen better days, with names carved into the wood by students who left years ago. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People in Sanand just know us by word of mouth. The teachers often commute from Ahmedabad or live nearby in the town. We spend a lot of time just talking to the students about staying focused. The dust from the nearby construction and the road settles on everything, so we are always wiping down the tables. It is a straightforward place to work. We have our routines, our morning prayers, and the usual rush to get out the door at the end of the day. There is nothing fancy about it, just a building with classrooms where we try to get through the syllabus every year without too much trouble. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to open the windows and keep going as best as we can.
