Shivm Saloon

Shivm Saloon is our little place in Amraiwadi. It’s a very local neighborhood in Ahmedabad, and we are located right near Jalaram Soda. That soda shop is where everyone goes when it’s hot, so it’s a good landmark for finding us. Our shop is pretty small and straightforward. We don’t have any of the fancy equipment you see in the big malls. It’s just the essential stuff—scissors, combs, and a few chairs that have been with us for a long time. Amraiwadi is a working-class area, so we keep things very practical. People come in for a quick cut before work or on their way home. We know most of our customers by their first names since they live just a few streets away. The shop can get a bit warm in the middle of the day, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving. We don't spend money on expensive signs or decorations. We’d rather just keep the place clean and ready for whoever walks in next. It’s a humble spot, and we like it that way. There is always the sound of children playing outside or the noise from the nearby shops. It feels like a real community here. If you’re ever around the Jalaram Soda shop and need a trim, you can just step inside and we will get to you as soon as a chair is free. We are usually here from early morning until the evening.
