Our place is on the first floor of Swaminarayan Avenue, right near Vasna Road. If you are coming from the Shree Damubhai Shukla Colony, we are just opposite that. It is a nice spot because being on the first floor at Shop-1 gets us away from the dust of the street. You have to walk up the stairs to find us. We have been here in Vasna for a good amount of time now. The parlor is mostly for the women who live in the nearby apartments and colonies. It is a bit of a quiet space where people can come to get their hair done or get a facial without the noise of the main road. We don't have any of that corporate feel here. It’s just us working with what we have. The chairs are comfortable and we try to keep the place tidy, though there is always a bit of clutter from the products we use. Sometimes we have tea together with the customers if it is a slow afternoon. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming to us since we first opened. It is a simple life, looking after the people in the neighborhood. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are and they come up the stairs when they need us. It's just a regular beauty care shop where the atmosphere is very casual.
