Shilpa Hair Cut

Shilpa Hair Cut is located at Shop No.3 on Civil Camp Road in Shahibaug. We are right on the Civil Road itself, so it is pretty easy to spot us if you are driving by. Shahibaug is a busy area of Ahmedabad, and our street sees a lot of traffic going toward the hospital and the camp. We keep the shop open most days and just focus on giving people the haircuts they ask for. It is not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We have our scissors, our combs, and our mirrors. The shop isn't very large, so if there are more than three people waiting, it starts to feel full. We have a lot of regular customers who live in the government quarters nearby or work in the shops along the road. We try to keep the place as clean as we can, but hair gets everywhere when it’s busy. We don't use any fancy booking systems; people just walk in and wait their turn on the chairs we have. Sometimes we talk about the local news or just work in silence if that’s what the person wants. It is a straightforward way to make a living. We have seen a lot of changes on Civil Camp Road over the years, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. The street light outside flickers sometimes in the evening, but we have our own lights inside so it doesn't bother us.
