Shift Engineer Gail India Ltd On Contract

I am currently working as a shift engineer for Gail India Ltd on a contract basis. My home and base of operations is in Shriram Colony in Dabra, which is part of the Gwalior district in M. P. My house is located quite close to the Vankhandeshwar Convent School. It is a nice, regular neighborhood where kids are often playing in the street and people know their neighbors. Working on a contract means I have to be very diligent and make sure I’m meeting all the requirements of the job. Dabra is a smaller town, and it has its own pace of life that I’ve grown to appreciate. My daily routine usually revolves around the shift schedule at the site. I don't have a fancy office or any corporate branding. It’s just me and my technical gear. The weather in Gwalior can be quite harsh, with very cold winters and scorching summers, but you just learn to work through it. I don't spend time writing mission statements or anything like that. I just focus on the engineering tasks and making sure the operations are safe and efficient. People in the colony know what I do, and sometimes they ask for help with their own technical problems. I’m happy to be a part of the community here. It is a simple, hardworking life, and I just try to do my part as a professional engineer every single day. There is always something new to learn on each shift.
