Shaily Beauty And Bridal Studio Only Ladies

This is a ladies-only space at Shop No 1 on the ground floor of Mansarovar Residency. We are on Mirambica Road in Naranpura, quite close to Parishram Tower. It’s a quiet residential street for the most part, except during the morning school run. Shaily Beauty And Bridal Studio is where I spend most of my day. I have a few helper girls who are learning the trade. We do a lot of bridal work, especially during the wedding season when things get really hectic and we are here until midnight. The rest of the year is more relaxed. We have a separate area in the back for waxing so there is some privacy. The chairs are pink because I liked the color when we bought them ten years ago. They are getting a little faded now. We have a small TV on the wall, but we usually keep the volume down unless there is a good show on. The door sticks a little when it rains, so you have to give it a good push. We know all the ladies in the residency by name. It’s nice to hear the local gossip while we work. We don't use fancy names for our services. If you want a haircut, it’s a haircut. If you want your face cleaned, we do that too. It’s just a normal place for women to feel comfortable without men around.
