Seth Shri Hiralaxmi Uchatar Madhayamik School

We are located over in Gandhinagar, specifically near the Head Office area in the 382010 zone. Seth Shri Hiralaxmi Uchatar Madhayamik School is where we spend most of our waking hours. Gandhinagar is a bit more planned out than other cities, so the surroundings are relatively orderly. Our school follows that same sort of practical vibe. The building is functional, with enough rooms for the different secondary classes we host. We get a lot of students from the nearby government quarters and residential blocks. Most of the day is spent going through the state syllabus, ensuring that the teenagers are ready for their board exams. It’s a lot of pressure, but we try to keep things grounded. The teachers often stay back late to help out or just to catch up on their own work. We have a simple playground where physical education happens, and it gets quite dusty in the summer months. The trees around the perimeter provide a little bit of shade, which everyone appreciates during the hot Gujarat afternoons. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most parents just walk in and talk to us when they want to enroll their children. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We just focus on the daily tasks of running a school and making sure the students have a place to study every day without too much fuss. Our doors stay open for anyone in the neighborhood needing a spot for their kids to learn.
