My name is Shailesh and we run this small engineering setup here in Jantral. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, right near the Ramji Mandir on New Line-1. Most folks around Vijapur know where to find us if they need something fixed or put together. It gets pretty busy during the day, but we try to keep up with the work that comes in from all over Mehsana district. It’s a simple workshop, nothing fancy, just a place where we do what we know. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, especially since we’re a small team. Being in a place like Jantral means you know your neighbors and people stop by just to chat sometimes while we’re working. We handle the tools and the metalwork day in and day out. If you’re heading down the road towards the temple, you can’t really miss us. We’ve had this shop here for quite some time. It’s not a corporate office or anything like that, just a regular place with grease on the floor and noise from the machines. We focus on the jobs that locals bring in. It’s how we make a living. The weather gets hot here in the afternoons, so we usually start early. Shailesh Maganbhai is the name on the door but most people just call me Shailesh. We’re just trying to do honest work and keep the machines running for everyone in the village.
