Satyam Hair Art & Beauty Parlour

Satyam Hair Art & Beauty Parlour is in Jhangiram Market, specifically units 4 and 5. We are located in the Sahijpur Bogha area of Ahmedabad. If you know where the Arya Samaj Mandir is, we are right across from it. It’s a busy market area with lots of people walking by. We do hair for men and also have a small section for women’s beauty needs. I’ve been running this place with a couple of young helpers for a while now. The market gets very crowded on the weekends, so it’s often hard to find a place to park a scooter near the shop. Inside, it’s a bit of a mix of things. We have big mirrors and some chairs that have seen better days but still work. The floor is a simple stone tile that’s easy to wash at the end of the night. We get a lot of people coming in for a shave after they visit the mandir. I like the early morning time best when it’s still quiet and the air is a bit cool before the sun gets high. We have a small fan for each chair because it gets very hot in the afternoons. Sometimes the scissors need sharpening, and we have to wait for the man who does that to come around on his bicycle. We don't have any fancy signs or big neon lights. Just a simple board with the shop name. We try to do a good job so people come back next time.
