Varahi Enterprise

Varahi Enterprise is based in the Signature-2 building, which is part of the Sarkhej Business Park. We are up in office A-208. Being in a business park is quite a change from where we started. It’s a big complex with a lot of different companies, so the parking lot is always full. We handle a lot of trading and supply work from our office. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and talking on the phone. We don't have any expensive art on the walls or leather sofas. It’s just a basic workspace with computers and files. The Sarkhej area is always busy because it’s a major hub for business in Ahmedabad. We have a small window that looks out over the park. Most of our day is spent tracking shipments and making sure our records are right. We aren't a big team, so everyone has to do a bit of everything. Sometimes the coffee machine in the building breaks down and we all have to walk down to the street to find a tea stall. We like it here because it feels like we are in the middle of the action. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just show up every morning, do our work, and try to be honest with our suppliers. It’s a quiet life in the office, even if the city outside is loud. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
