Saratec Engineering

You can find Saratec Engineering over in the Gurukul Industrial Area. We are in Shed Number 1, right on Gali Number 2. It’s one of those places where you hear the sounds of grinding and welding before you even see the door. The shed is tall and a bit dark inside, lit mostly by the sparks and some old tubelights hanging from the beams. We’ve got benches covered in grease and metal shavings. There’s always a project on the go, whether it’s a small part or a bigger assembly. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it holds up the heavy machinery just fine. In Gali Number 2, everyone is busy with their own workshops. We see the same faces every day. There isn't any fancy signage or a polished lobby here. We just have our tools and our machines. It’s a lot of measuring and cutting and checking things twice. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but usually, it’s just the steady hum of work. We keep our supplies in the back and the finished jobs near the front. It gets dusty, especially when the wind blows through the industrial estate. We drink a lot of water and just keep the production moving. It’s practical work for people who don’t mind getting their hands dirty. We’ve been in this shed long enough that we know exactly where the floor unevenness is. It’s home for us.
