Ambica Engineering Work

Ambica Engineering Work is located over at Hariom Shopping Center, right by the Santej Tiles bus stop. It is a good spot because the bus drops people off right nearby. I usually open up the shop early in the morning before the traffic gets too heavy. Most of the day is spent handling different metal parts and fixing things that come in. It gets pretty loud with the machines running, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other. The shop is in Block 861. It’s not the biggest space but we make it work by keeping our tools organized. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. Sometimes we stand outside by the bus stop for a quick break when the sun is out. There is always something to weld or a part to grind down. It's dirty work and our hands are usually covered in grease by noon. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk tucked in the corner for the invoices. If the tea stall nearby is open, we usually grab a cup while waiting for a machine to finish its cycle. It’s a simple setup and it suits us. We just do the engineering work that people bring to us and try to stay busy throughout the week. It keeps the lights on.
