Salecha Exports

We are over here in the Parvati Mansion Building, right in the middle of Mirghawad. If you know Revdi Bazar in Kalupur, you know how busy it gets every single morning. It is loud and there is always someone moving something on a cart. Our space is just a regular spot where we handle all the export work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we just take the stairs. It is an old building but it works for us. We have been in this part of Ahmedabad for a while now. The streets are narrow and you have to be careful where you park your scooter. Most days we are just busy with paperwork and checking the stock that comes in. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months. We usually keep the windows open to get some air, even with all the noise from the market outside. People stop by to chat sometimes, mostly other shop owners from the same floor. It is not fancy here. Just some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of boxes waiting to go out. We try to keep things organized but when a big shipment arrives, the whole floor gets covered in tape and cardboard. That is just how it goes in Kalupur. We take our tea breaks around four o'clock when the chai guy comes around. It is a simple life running a business in this part of town.
