Sakti Hair Art

We have been running this shop in Maninagar for quite some years now. It is located right near 7 Days School, which makes it easy for parents to drop by after they leave their kids. Most people know us because we are close to the Lal Bhai Centre too. The shop isn't anything fancy or like those big salons you see in malls. It is just a regular place with a few chairs and some mirrors. We spend our days cutting hair and doing shaves for the men in the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Sunday mornings, and people have to sit on the plastic chairs outside while they wait their turn. We try to keep the place clean, but hair gets everywhere when it’s busy. My cousin helps out when we have too many customers. We talk about the cricket scores or the local news while we work. The water heater sometimes takes a minute to get going in the winters, but we manage fine. It’s a simple life here in Ahmedabad. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. People just walk in because they live nearby or they saw the sign while passing through Maninagar. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming here on their own. It is just a small business trying to do honest work every day without too much fuss or trouble for anyone.
