Sakhi Beauty Parlour & Classes

Sakhi Beauty Parlour & Classes is situated at B/27 in the Ghewar Complex. We are on Camp Road in Shahibaug. We are directly opposite Ghasiram Chaudhary Hall, which is a big landmark in this area. My shop has two parts to it. One side is where I do beauty work like threading, facials, and hair styling for women. The other part is a small classroom area where I teach young women the basics of beauty work so they can start their own jobs. It can get a bit crowded in here when I have three or four students practicing at the same time. The shop is painted pink and white, but the paint is getting a bit old now. We have a lot of regular ladies who come from the nearby apartments. During the wedding season, we get very busy because of the hall across the street. People come in for quick touch-ups before their events. I just do things the traditional way with good quality products that I know well. We often sit and have tea while we talk about our families and the news in Shahibaug. It is a friendly place and not corporate at all.
