Our place is located in Ahmedabad at the Shastrinagar Shopping Center. We are in the M-4/78/588 section of the complex. Being in a shopping center means there is always something going on outside our door. There are people coming and going for their own errands all day long. Sai Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd. has been here for some time now. The office is tucked away, so you have to look for the numbers to find us. Inside, it is mostly just stacks of paper and the sound of keyboards. We don’t have fancy decorations on the walls. It is a practical space for engineers to sit and think about calculations and site plans. Ahmedabad gets very hot in the middle of the day, so we mostly stay indoors under the air conditioning. The shopping center has its own rhythm, with shops opening late and staying open after we head home. We know the neighbors who run the nearby stalls. Sometimes we grab a quick lunch from one of the vendors downstairs. It is a convenient spot for us because everything is close by. We don't spend much time on marketing or anything like that. We just come in, do the consulting work that needs to be done, and then lock up for the day. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and it works for us. We’ve gotten used to the busy atmosphere of Shastrinagar over the years we have been here.
