Ramdev Furniture Fabrication

Our workshop, Ramdev Furniture Fabrication, is located over at Marwadi Ni Chawl. It’s near Kiran Nagar, just outside the Shahpur Gate area. If you’re heading down the Dudheshwar Sahibagh Road, you’re basically in our neighborhood. It’s a loud place to work. There is always the sound of metal being cut or hammers hitting something. We do a lot of fabrication work, which means plenty of sparks and heavy lifting. The shop isn't much to look at. We have piles of iron rods and wooden planks scattered about. It gets pretty hot during the day, especially with the welding machines running. We’ve been around this part of Kiran Nagar for quite some time now. Most of our neighbors in the chawl know us by the noise we make. It’s a gritty job, and our clothes are usually covered in dust or grease by noon. We don’t have an office with air conditioning or soft chairs. We just have our workbenches and our tools. Sometimes we sit outside by the gate when it's time for a break. We handle all sorts of furniture tasks, mostly the heavy-duty stuff that needs a lot of strength to put together. It is just honest work that we do with our hands. People stop by to ask for quotes or just to watch us work for a bit. It’s a busy life here near the Shahpur Gate, and we just keep at it every single day.
