Sahara Aata Maker

We are located over in Odhav, specifically on the Nikol Gam Road near the Kathwada Gidc. It’s a heavily industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks passing by our doors. Making flour is what we do every day. The machines stay running for hours, grinding down the grain into the fine powder that people need for their kitchens. It gets quite warm inside the facility, especially during the summer months when the Gujarat sun is beating down on the roof. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the grain before it goes into the mill. If the moisture is wrong, the whole batch can be ruined. The floor is always covered in a bit of white dust, no matter how much we sweep it. We wear simple clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. It's a hands-on job, and we are usually moving bags or adjusting the settings on the grinders. The Nikol Gam Road is always busy, so we see a lot of traffic. Local vendors often stop by to pick up their supplies in the afternoon. We don't have a sales team or anything like that; we just talk to the people who come to the door. It’s a very practical way to run things. We focus on the machines and the grain, making sure everything is moving along as it should without any delays. It is hard work but it keeps us going.
