Sacred Heart Eng. Med. Sr. Sec. School

This school is located at 24, Gujarat Housing Vasahat in the Chandkheda area. It is right in the middle of a residential colony, so the neighborhood is always full of people. Sacred Heart Eng. Med. Sr. Sec. School is where a lot of the local children spend their day. The building is tucked away inside the housing society. It is an English medium school. We have both the primary and the secondary sections running here. Most of our teachers are local residents themselves. It can get a bit crowded out front during the morning drop-off and the afternoon pick-up times. Everyone in the colony knows the spot. We do not have a massive campus with stadiums, but we make good use of the space we have. The classrooms are filled with standard wooden benches and desks. The chalkboards get used every single hour of the day. It is a noisy environment, but that is what you expect with hundreds of kids. We follow all the state board rules and regulations. The front office is usually a busy place with parents coming in to talk about fees or exam marks. We just keep everything moving as best as we can. Gandhinagar is known for being a planned city, but this corner of Chandkheda feels much more lived-in and cozy. We have a small area for a playground. Sometimes a ball goes over the fence, but the neighbors are used to it. It is just normal school life for us.
