S Kumar Hair Point

S Kumar Hair Point is situated in Nikol, specifically at Bharvi Park Society. We are in Shop No.6. The Khodiyar Temple is a big landmark right near us, which makes it easy for people to find the shop. We are on the road that goes from Nikol to Odhav. This area is usually quite busy with commuters and local residents. We have been cutting hair here for a while and we know a lot of the people who pass by every day. It is just a basic hair point. We have a couple of chairs and the usual tools of the trade. We don't do anything very fancy, just the standard cuts and shaves that people need. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it is slow and watch the traffic go by on the Nikol-Odhav road. It is a working-class neighborhood and people expect a simple, honest job, which is what we give them. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. The shop can get a bit warm in the summer but we have a fan going. We keep our prices fair and our hands busy. It is a simple existence but we like being our own bosses and serving the people in this part of Ahmedabad. We work until the late evening and then close up for the night.
