Rupsutra Beauty Salon And Academy

Rupsutra is located at 111 Shangrilla Arcade, right by the Shyamal Cross Road in the Satellite area. We are directly opposite Gate 3 A of the Shyamal Rowhouses. It’s a well-known spot in 380015. We run both a beauty salon and an academy here. This means we spend half our time working with customers and the other half teaching students the ropes of the beauty industry. The arcade is usually quite lively. Being on the cross road means there’s constant traffic, which helps people notice where we are. We’ve been in Shangrilla Arcade for a while and have seen the neighborhood change over the years. Our space is divided to accommodate the training sessions and the regular salon appointments. It gets a bit busy when we have a full class and a line of clients, but we manage it okay. We aren't into fancy marketing talk or making big claims. We just show the students how to use the tools and we make sure our salon clients leave looking better than when they walked in. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of place. Most of the people who come here are from the nearby rowhouses or the surrounding apartments in Satellite. We like the local feel of the business and the fact that we can help new people enter the profession while serving our regulars. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do.
