Roops The Family Salon

You can find us at Roops The Family Salon in Maninagar. We are situated on the first floor of Sumati Avenue, right across from the Rajkamal Bakery near Vallabh Wadi and Jawahar Chowk. Since we’re a family salon, we see everyone from kids getting their first haircut to older folks who’ve lived in Maninagar forever. It gets pretty noisy on the weekends when families come in together. We have several chairs set up and some benches for people to wait on. The smell of the bakery across the street usually drifts in during the mornings. We’ve got a simple setup here. Nothing too flashy. We spend our time cutting hair, doing shaves for the men, and whatever else the families need. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. We know the routines of the street and when the traffic is going to be bad at Jawahar Chowk. It’s just a regular workplace for us. We keep our tools clean and our mirrors wiped down, but you’ll probably see some hair on the floor because we’re usually busy. We don’t use any complicated booking systems; usually, people just show up or call us on the phone. It’s a straightforward business. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure people in the neighborhood have a place to go to get groomed.
