If you’re ever walking by Vastrapur Lake, you’ve probably noticed the Himalaya Arcade. Our place, Rivira Beauty & Saloon, is on the first floor of the B Wing in Shop 120. It’s a handy location for people living in this part of Ahmedabad. We’ve been here for a while now, and it’s become a bit of a second home for us. The shop isn’t massive, but it’s got everything we need to help folks out. We do all the regular beauty stuff like haircuts, threading, and some skin work. It’s mostly local ladies who come in, often just for a quick fix before heading out for the day. Ahmedabad can be so dusty and hot, so we try to make the salon a place where you can just breathe for a minute. We don’t have those polished corporate manners you see in the big malls. We’re just regular people working here. Sometimes we have a laugh with the customers, and other times it’s just quiet work. During the wedding season, things get a little crazy with all the bookings, but we manage to get through it. We aren't trying to be the most expensive or famous place in town.
