We run Rhine Engineering out of a couple of flats in Shree Vallabh Apartment. Specifically, we are in 109 and 110. It’s on the Novino-Tarsali Road here in Vadodara. Using apartments as an office works for us because it keeps things low-key and comfortable. Engineering is what we do, so there are usually drawings and plans spread out over the tables. It’s not a showroom; it’s a workspace. Tarsali is a busy area, but once you’re inside the apartment, it’s easier to concentrate on the technical details. We have a small group of people who know their stuff. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures or shiny signs. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for years. We deal with various engineering projects and we try to be as straightforward as possible with everyone. If a project has a problem, we talk about it honestly. That’s the only way to get things done right. Vadodara has a lot of industry, so we stay busy enough. We don't have any grand slogans. We just want to finish our work and go home knowing it was done properly. Sometimes the office is a bit loud when we’re all debating a design, but that's part of the process. We’ve been at this for a while and we plan to stay right here in Tarsali for the foreseeable future. It’s a good location and it fits the way we like to work without any extra fuss.
