We chose the name Relief because that is what we want people to feel when they sit down in our chairs. Paldi is a crowded area, so having a place to just sit and get a haircut or a face wash is nice. We have been in this complex for a while now. The shop is simple, with just the essential chairs and mirrors. We don't spend money on expensive decor or fancy uniforms. We’d rather just focus on the hair and skin stuff. People from the nearby apartments usually walk over. Sometimes finding parking near Mahalaxmi Five Roads is a bit of a headache, so most of our regulars just come on foot. We handle all sorts of hair types and basic beauty routines. It is just a normal daily business. We open early and stay until the last customer is done. There is nothing corporate about how we run things. If the tea man comes by, we usually take a break to have a cup. It’s that kind of place. We know most of our customers by name since they’ve been coming here for years.
