Our shop is located in Akshya Complex, right on Chanakyapuri Road. If you know where Nirman Tower is in the Ghatlodiya area, we are just a short walk from there at Shop No-16. It isn't a huge space, but we have managed to fit a lot of equipment and spare parts into it over the years. Usually, it’s just a couple of us here handling whatever engineering work comes through the door. Some days it is quiet and we just organize the shelves, but other days everyone seems to show up at once wanting something fixed immediately. We deal with a lot of local folks and small businesses from this part of town. The traffic on Chanakyapuri Road can be a real headache in the evenings, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We have been in this spot for a while now and most of the other shop owners nearby know us. We don’t have any slick brochures or a sales team. It’s just us doing the work. If a machine breaks down, we try to see what's wrong and fix it. We use whatever tools are at hand. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with scrap metal and old parts, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a practical kind of place. We keep the shutters open until late evening most days. That is basically what we do here at Ravi Engineering Company.
