Raj Hair And Care

I’ve been working at Raj Hair And Care for quite some time now. Our shop is tucked away at Shop No 6 in Pramukh Palace, which is right in the Maninagar area. If you know the Jaihind Char Rasta, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, and there’s always something happening outside the door. Most days, I get here early to sweep the floor and get the chairs ready for whoever might drop by. It’s not a huge place, but it’s ours, and we’ve gotten used to the way the light hits the mirrors in the afternoon. People from around the neighborhood come in, sometimes just to say hello or ask about the time. We have our regulars who have been coming for years, and we know exactly how they like things done without them even saying a word. It’s nice seeing familiar faces and hearing about what’s going on in their lives. The shop has a simple setup, just the basic stuff you need for hair work. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we do our daily jobs. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody seems to mind much. We just keep busy with the scissors and the combs, making sure people leave looking a bit tidier than when they walked in. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day.
