Raga Saloon And Academi

Raga Saloon And Academi is located at Shop Number-3/4 in the Mina Shopping Centre. We are right in Maninagar, just across from Shree Durga School. It’s a lively area, especially when school lets out. We call ourselves a saloon and academy because we also teach a bit of the trade to people who want to learn how to cut hair properly. The space is divided up so we can work on customers and also have some room for teaching. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. We have been in Maninagar for quite a while. The shop has a lot of mirrors and various hair products sitting on the shelves. It’s not a polished corporate place. You’ll see combs and scissors everywhere and probably some students practicing on mannequins in the back. We do all the standard stuff like cuts, washes, and styling. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't have a receptionist, so one of us will usually look up from what we're doing to say hello when you walk in. We use simple tools and keep the floor as clean as we can. It’s a busy life here at the shopping center. We mostly get people from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. It’s a honest way to earn a living and we enjoy the work. We keep the music low so we can talk to our customers. It’s a good little business for the local folks.
