Radhika Hair & Beauty Care is located at Shop-3 in the Neelmani Apartment building. We’re right at Sonal Cross Roads in the Gurukul area of Ahmedabad. It’s a pretty easy spot to see if you’re looking for Sarthi Raw House, since we’re directly opposite that. We’ve been here for quite some time now, just doing our thing. The shop isn’t a big, polished salon like the ones you see in malls. It’s just a neighborhood place where people from around Gurukul come to get their hair cut or some beauty work done. We’ve got a couple of chairs and the standard equipment. It’s a bit of an older building, but we like it here. The crossroad outside is usually buzzing with people and scooters. Inside, we just focus on whatever needs to be done. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, open the shutters, and wait for our regulars. Sometimes we’re just sitting and chatting with people while they wait their turn. It’s a very local vibe. We try to keep the place tidy, though hair tends to get everywhere when it is busy. If you’re around Sonal Cross Roads, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We don’t do a lot of advertising. Most people just know us from living nearby. It’s a practical, honest little shop. We just keep the lights on and keep working every single day.
