Radha Hair Art

Radha Hair Art is my small shop in Meghaninagar. It sits in the Panda Vadi area, right across from the Rameswear Bridge. There is a big water tank nearby that everyone uses as a landmark to find us. I set up here because it is a busy spot with people always crossing the bridge to go to work. I spend my days cutting hair for the locals and some people who are just passing through the area. It is a small space, so it can get a bit hot in the summer months, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving. I don't do anything complicated. If you want a standard haircut or a shave, I am the person to see. I keep my tools in a wooden drawer and make sure they are ready for the next person who comes in. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in and they are always moving around, which makes my job harder, but it is fun to talk to them. I have some old mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. I don't have a website or anything fancy like that. People just know where I am by word of mouth. I try to be fair with what I charge and I don't like to rush the job. If someone is waiting, they can sit on the bench outside or inside if there is room. It is just a basic hair shop for the community here in Meghaninagar.
