Radcliffe School

Our school is located right at number 9 in Premanjali Society. If you know the Judges Bungalow Cross Road in Bodakdev, then you know how busy this part of Ahmedabad can get. We are right in the middle of it all. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes with the cars and the school buses trying to get through the society gates. The building is just a regular spot where we have set up our classrooms. Inside, things are usually humming with the sound of students talking or teachers explaining something on the board. We try to keep the hallways clear, but with so many kids, there’s always a bag or a lunch box out of place. The staff here spends a lot of time preparing for the day before the sun even gets too hot. Ahmedabad summers are no joke, so we are always checking if the fans are working properly. Being in Bodakdev, we get a lot of families from the nearby apartments. It feels like a small community inside the school. We don't have a massive campus, but we use every corner of the space we have in Premanjali. People know us by the name on the gate. We spend our afternoons sorting through paperwork and getting things ready for the next morning. It’s just the daily grind of running a school in a crowded city area. Most days are long, but we just get on with it.
