R V Hair & Beauty

Our shop is G/7 in the Vatika Complex on Dudheshwar Road. This part of Ahmedabad, near Hunimanpura, is always full of activity. The road outside is usually packed with bikes and cars going past. We are on the ground floor, so it is easy for people to just walk in off the street. The complex is an older building and our shop is just a simple room with the basic things we need. We have a few mirrors and the chairs where people sit while we work on their hair or do beauty treatments. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always going at full speed. We don't have any corporate branding or polished signs. It’s just us, R V Hair & Beauty, written on the front. We get a mix of people coming in, some who have been coming for years and some who are just passing through. The floor is just simple stone and we sweep it out every hour. There is a small shelf where we keep the shampoos and creams we use. We don't try to be anything special, just a place where you can get your hair done properly. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, but we have big windows at the front that let in the sunlight. It is a busy life on Dudheshwar Road, but inside the shop, we just focus on the person in the chair.
