R K Engineer is over at A/2 in Tulsidham Society, which is right behind Shantivan School near the water tank on Ajwa Road in Vadodara. The address is a bit long, but once you find the water tank, we are pretty easy to spot. I’ve been working from this location for quite a while now. It is more of a practical workspace than a formal office. I have my tools, some old blueprints, and a lot of equipment scattered around the room. Most of the work involves technical things and engineering tasks that come in from local clients. It’s a quiet society area, so I can usually get my work done without too much distraction. Sometimes neighbors stop by for a chat while I am outside. The space inside isn’t very large, so I have to keep things organized, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. I handle everything myself, from answering the phone to finishing the technical drawings. It’s a local operation, so I don't have any staff or assistants running around. Being near Shantivan School makes it a familiar landmark for anyone coming to visit the shop. I spend my days mostly focused on the projects at hand, making sure the measurements and details are right. It’s a steady way to earn a living here in Vadodara. We just stay focused on the work and keep the shop running as best as we can every day.
