Our shop is tucked away in Phase II of the Vatva GIDC. If you know the area near the Vinzol Crossing, you probably passed by us a hundred times. We are at I/6-7. It’s a crowded part of the estate but we like being right in the middle of everything. There’s always someone looking for a part to be fixed or a machine that needs looking at. We have a few lathes and some old grinders that have seen better days but they still get the job done right. The floor is usually covered in some oil and metal shavings because we stay busy from eight in the morning until late. We’re just a small crew. Most of the guys have been with us for ten years or more. We know each other’s families and we eat lunch together under the fan when it gets too hot in the afternoon. Vatva can be a tough place to work with all the noise and the heat, but it’s home for us. We don’t do big advertisements or anything. Most people find us because someone else told them we do okay work. It’s just engineering. You bring something in, we look at it, and we try to get it back to you so you can get back to your own work. That’s how it goes every day here in the industrial estate.
