Project Engineer

Our spot is right near Dasanimani Vadi in the Sagarvada area of Modasa. If you are from around here in the Sabarkantha district, you probably know where that is. We have been operating as Project Engineer from this location for quite a while now. The office is nothing special, just a place to keep the tools, my computer, and the paperwork. It gets quite busy during the day because of the location, so there is always some noise from the street traffic. I spend my time split between sitting at the table and being out in the field. Engineering work in a place like Modasa means you have to be ready for anything that comes up. Some days it is about checking a small building and other days it is something much larger and more complicated. I don't really have a big staff to help out, so I end up doing most of the heavy lifting and planning myself. It is a bit of a grind, to be honest. I usually start early before the sun gets too hot to work comfortably. There is a lot of back and forth with local contractors and people from the neighborhood. It is a local business and we like it that way. We don't have a corporate office or a big shiny logo. We just do the work that needs to be done and try to stay on schedule as much as the local conditions allow us to each week.
