Prism Pharma Machinery

We’re out at Plot No. 3713 in Phase 4 of GIDC Vatva. If you know Vatva, you know it’s a huge place dedicated to all kinds of manufacturing and industrial work. Our workshop is where we spend the bulk of our time building and fixing pharma machinery. It’s a place that smells like cut metal and grease, which is exactly how a machine shop should be. We have heavy tools and parts scattered across the workbenches, but there is a system to the mess. It gets pretty loud when we’re running the grinders or the welding machines, so we usually have to talk at the top of our lungs. It’s a very physical job, and we’re often covered in dust or oil by the time lunch rolls around. We have a tiny office area in the front where we keep the blueprints and handle the billing, but nobody stays in there for long. The roads in this part of GIDC aren't the best, especially when the big trucks are moving through. We don't have a sales team or any fancy brochures. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been doing this for a long time and know how to put a machine together properly. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work, but we take a certain pride in seeing a finished piece of equipment leave the plot.
