Prime Instruments

Prime Instruments is located at 113 Krishna Complex on Gheekanta Road. This is the heart of the old city area, so it’s always packed with people and scooters. We are right opposite Madhuram Cinema and near the Sandesh Press building. You can usually hear the city noise from inside the shop all day long. It’s a busy place with a lot of energy, but it’s also quite an old building. The complex itself has seen better days, and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. We have our space set up with all the instruments we handle. It’s a lot of metal and glass and technical parts. We don’t have a lot of room for fluff, so every corner is used for something. The light isn't the best in the back of the shop, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we are doing. Working in Gheekanta means you’re always in the middle of everything. Lunch usually comes from one of the small places nearby. We spend the day checking equipment and talking to people who come in looking for specific parts. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t try to make it look like something it’s not. It’s just a local shop in a crowded market where we do our best to stay organized amidst the chaos of the street outside.
