Prayosh Engineering

Prayosh Engineering is located at No. 164 in the Shankar Estate, which is on the Revabhai Estate Road in the C. T. M. area of Amraiwadi. This is a real industrial part of town, so there is always the sound of welding, grinding, and heavy vehicles moving around. Our unit is one of those typical estate blocks with a high ceiling and a big rolling shutter at the front. The floor is stained with oil and grease, which is just part of the job when you are doing engineering work. We have got our lathes and drill presses set up in a way that makes sense for the flow of work, even if it looks crowded to an outsider. The office is just a small cabin partitioned off in one corner so we can keep the dust off the computer and the ledgers. It gets pretty loud during the day, so we usually have to talk over the noise of the machines. The guys working here are local, and we usually share a big pot of tea in the middle of the morning. There is no fancy sign out front, just the name and the unit number. It is a place where we get our hands dirty and make sure the parts are cut to the right size. Amraiwadi is a tough, busy place, and our shop fits right into that landscape.
