Pravina General Stores

Pravina General Stores is located in the Dhanlaxmi Complex in the Jivraj Park area of Ahmedabad. We are right across from the Swaminarayan temple, which is a very busy and well-known landmark. Our shop has been around for a long time, and we serve many of the families who live in the surrounding apartments and houses. We sell all sorts of things, ranging from basic groceries like grains and oils to small items you might need for the house like soaps or batteries. The shop is part of a larger complex, so it feels like a little community of its own. It can get quite hot in Ahmedabad, but the shop stays relatively cool inside. We have a lot of items packed into a small space, so it is a bit of a squeeze when there are more than a few people inside at once. We know a lot of our customers by name because they have been coming here for such a long time. It is a friendly place where people often stay for a minute to talk after they have finished their shopping. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just us working every day to keep the shelves stocked and the customers happy. We try to keep a good variety of items so people don't have to go far for their daily needs. It is steady work and we are glad to be part of the neighborhood.
