Prakash Hair & Care is tucked away in Hatkeshwar on Bhai Pura Road. You cannot miss us because we are at Shop No:-1, right opposite the Vitthal Temple. It is a good landmark for anyone living around Ahmedabad 380026. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need for the day. Every morning, we unlock the shutters and start setting things up. We have been here quite some time. The temple across the street brings a lot of peace, even when the road gets busy. We see the same faces every month. It is nice knowing everyone's names. We do basic haircuts and shaves. No big talk, just work. Sometimes the wait is a bit long on weekends, so people sit on the bench outside and chat about the news or the neighborhood. The area has changed a lot, but our little corner stays the same. We keep our tools sharp and the towels clean. That is the main thing for us. Bhai Pura Road stays active until late. We usually have the radio playing some old songs while we work. It is just a local shop for local people. Nothing fancy about it. If you are near the Vitthal Temple, you will see our sign. We are usually busy with someone in the chair. It feels good to be part of this community in Hatkeshwar. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day after day.
