You can find us at Door No:-20/Art-I, which is part of the Shyamal Row House complex. We are right on the 132 Ft. Ring Road in the Satellite area of Ahmedabad, so the traffic noise is something we hear all day long through the windows. Praj Engineering & Services isn't a typical big corporate office with a lobby. It’s more of a functional space where we coordinate our engineering jobs and service calls for various clients. The rooms are filled with technical drawings, some tool kits tucked in the corners, and a couple of desks where the paperwork and billing get done. We spend a lot of time out at different sites, so the office can feel a bit empty during the middle of the day when everyone is in the field. When we are all in, it’s usually to discuss a new project or figure out a maintenance schedule for the coming week. The Satellite area is very busy, so getting in and out of the row house can be a bit of a pain during the morning and evening rush hours. We’ve got a small pantry for making tea, and that’s usually where we end up talking about the technical problems we encountered on the job. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do, focusing on the engineering details rather than how the office looks to outsiders. Most of our files are kept in simple folders on metal shelves.
