Pragati Pharma Equipment Factory

Our factory, Pragati Pharma Equipment Factory, is situated over in Phase-IV of the G.I.D.C. area in Vatva. We’re quite close to the Tata Power House, which is usually the best landmark to give people if they are trying to find us. The address says Bhandup West too, which can be a bit confusing for some, but once you get into the industrial zone, it makes more sense. It’s a loud place, as you’d expect from an industrial estate. There is always the sound of welding, grinding, or trucks moving. We manufacture equipment for the pharma industry here. It’s heavy work and involves a lot of stainless steel and precise measurements. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal scrap or tools that someone forgot to put back. We don't have air conditioning in the main workshop, so it gets pretty hot in the summer months. We just keep the big fans running and drink plenty of water. It’s a tough environment but we’ve been doing it for years. Most of our workers have been with us for a long time. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our overalls, busy with a machine. We just focus on making sure the equipment works like it’s supposed to and that it gets delivered on time to the people who need it.
