Pooja Beuty Parlour

You can find us over in the GHB Colony in Meghaninagar. The parlor is at Block No-91, which is a pretty quiet spot compared to the main roads. We are quite close to the Khodiyarmata Mandir, so a lot of the women stop by after they have finished their prayers or on their way back from the market. It is a small place, nothing like those big salons you see in the malls. We handle mostly the basic stuff like threading, waxing, and hair cuts for the ladies in the neighborhood. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We know whose daughter is getting married and whose kids are doing well in school. The room is usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and the local gossip. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working through the list of people who walk in. The towels are always being washed and hung out to dry. We have been in this colony for a long time, and the neighbors are like family to us. It is just a simple way to earn a living while staying close to home. There isn't much more to say about it, we just keep busy and try to make the place feel welcoming for everyone who lives in the area.
