You can find Tekni Engineering at Plot No. 3009 in the fourth phase of the GIDC industrial area in Vatva. Our building is a pretty standard setup for this area with concrete floors, high ceilings, and plenty of heavy-duty shelving. We have been operating here for a bit. The work we do involves a lot of technical assembly and fabrication. It is not the kind of place where you would wear a suit. Most of us are in work clothes that end up with a few stains by the end of the week. We have a routine that hasn't changed much in years. We start early, get the machines warmed up, and work through the list of tasks. There is a small office space near the entrance where we keep the files and the telephone, but most of the action happens on the floor. We deal with a lot of different clients who need specific parts made, and we just try to follow the specs they give us. It gets pretty dusty in here when the wind blows through the open doors, but that is just life in Vatva. We don't really have a big story to tell or fancy words to use. We just show up, do the engineering work, and make sure the bills get paid. It is a steady life and we like the independence of running our own shop here on Plot 3009.
