Kad Udyog

Over at Kad Udyog, things are usually moving pretty fast. We are based at Plot No. 3401/5 in Phase-4, GIDC, Vatva. It’s a bit of a tight spot, but we make it work. Every morning the shutters go up and we start checking what needs to be done for the day. We have various things to handle and it’s rarely quiet. The sounds from the neighboring plots blend in with ours. You get used to the noise after a few days. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters. It is just us here trying to manage the workload. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just part of life in the industrial estate. We have a small office area for the paperwork, but most of the action happens out on the floor. We drink a lot of chai to keep us going through the shifts. The workers here are local people who know their way around the tools. We don’t make big promises or use big words. We just look at the schedule and try to stay on track. If you come by Plot 3401/5, you’ll find a regular group of people doing honest work. We don't have time for much else besides getting the jobs done and heading home.
