Chass Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No. 1603 in the Phase-3 section of GIDC, Vatva. It’s an honest engineering shop where we focus on getting the job done without a lot of talk or meetings. The gate is usually open early, and the guys start trickling in to get the machines warmed up and the coffee going. We handle various engineering tasks, and the workshop floor is always busy with something or other. There’s no marketing department here or people in fancy clothes walking around. Most of us have been in this industry long enough to know that what matters is whether the machine works or not at the end of the day. Plot No. 1603 is our base, and it’s where all the heavy lifting and assembly happens. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the ceiling fans click a bit as they spin, but it’s a good, solid place to work. We have our routines, our preferred tea guy who comes by in the afternoon with his kettle, and our usual way of handling the steel. We don’t put on a show for anyone who walks through the door.
