Siskon Engineering Services is located at Plot No. L-4130/2 in Phase-4 of GIDC, Vatva. It’s a busy corner of the industrial estate and things usually get moving pretty early here. Most days start with the sound of the shutters rolling up and the smell of morning tea from the stall down the road. The workshop floor isn’t exactly pristine, but it’s where all the actual work happens. We’ve got machines that have been running for years, and they have their own little quirks that only the guys here really understand. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everything is running at once, making it hard to hear your own thoughts. People come by with all sorts of requests, some written on proper blueprints and others just scratched onto a piece of cardboard. We try to figure out what they need and get it done without too much fuss. The afternoon heat in Vatva can be quite something, especially under the tin roof, so we usually take a bit of a breather when the sun is at its highest. It’s a practical place, really. We don’t have fancy carpets or a receptionist sitting at the front. It is mostly just us, a few heavy tools, and whatever project is currently sitting on the bench. We’ve been at this for a while and the walls show it, with stains and marks from years of handling heavy parts and grease.
